چکیده مقاله:

In recent decades, rapid advances in digital technologies have significantly transformed payment systems and the structure of global trade. Financial technology (FinTech) has emerged as one of the most influential innovations in the financial sector, playing a crucial role in the development of electronic payment methods, enhancing transaction speed and security, and expanding access to financial services. The emergence of technologies such as mobile payments, digital wallets, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and online payment platforms has reshaped traditional payment mechanisms and facilitated financial interactions in international trade. These innovations have not only reduced transaction costs but have also enabled faster, more transparent, and cross border payment processes. The purpose of this review paper is to examine and synthesize existing research on the role of FinTech in transforming payment systems within the context of global trade. To achieve this objective, previous studies related to FinTech innovations, digital payment infrastructures, and international financial transactions are analyzed in order to identify key technological trends and influential factors driving this transformation. The literature indicates that FinTech innovations have significantly improved the efficiency of payment systems, enhanced user experience, increased financial transparency, and supported the rapid growth of cross border e commerce.Despite these advantages, the expansion of FinTech also presents several challenges, including cybersecurity risks, regulatory uncertainties, data privacy concerns, and unequal access to digital financial technologies. Addressing these challenges requires coordinated efforts among governments, financial institutions, and technology companies to establish effective regulatory frameworks and strengthen digital infrastructures. By providing a comprehensive review of existing literature, this study contributes to a better understanding of how FinTech innovations are reshaping payment systems and influencing the future of global trade
