چکیده مقاله:
In today’s highly competitive and dynamic business environment, supply chain management (SCM) practices have evolved into a crucial strategic tool for enhancing operational performance and achieving firm sustainability. Despite extensive research, many firms, especially in developing economies, continue to struggle with the implementation of integrated SCM practices that yield measurable improvements in both operational performance and sustainability. The study adopts an explanatory research design and quantitative research approach. The philosophical underpinning of this research is positivism. A quota sampling technique was adopted to guide the selection of ۴۰۰ respondents. The study relied on Primary source of data. The results also demonstrate that SCM practices positively influence firm sustainability. Technology adoption is found to positively moderate the relationship between SCM practices and operational performance. Finally, the study concludes that technology adoption enhances the positive relationship between SCM practices and firm sustainability. The study recommends that firms are encouraged to strengthen supply chain integration through practices such as supplier partnerships, collaborative forecasting, real-time information exchange, and streamlined logistics. Firms should deliberately invest in digital solutions that directly support sustainability outcomes. Firms should invest in training and capacity building to improve the implementation of these practices across all levels of the supply chain.
