چکیده مقاله:
MicroRNAs are small non-coding RNAs with significant potential as biomarkers for early cancer detection and treatment. This study reviewed the molecular mechanisms, target genes, and clinical significance of the miR-۵۴۸ family in various cancers, emphasizing its crucial role in gene expression and biological processes. Abnormal expression of the miR-۵۴۸ family has been reported in multiple malignancies, including gastric cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma, glioblastoma, ovarian cancer, and endometrial cancer. Its expression can either act as an oncomiR or a tumor suppressor gene. MiR-۵۴۸ family, a key gene in neoplastic cells, regulates cell-cycle-related pathways and may serve as a biomarker for cancer stage, treatment efficacy, and prognosis, highlighting its potential as a target in anticancer therapies.
