چکیده مقاله:

Microlearning has emerged as a prominent instructional approach in digital education because it aligns learning activities with how people commonly access information in modern environments. In teacher education, where pre-service teachers must develop pedagogical knowledge alongside practical skills, microlearning may offer a flexible and efficient alternative to long instructional formats. This article reviews microlearning as an instructional design concept and examines its potential effectiveness for future teachers engaged in digital learning environments. Drawing on scholarship in educational technology and digital pedagogy, the study explains that microlearning typically uses short, focused modules that target specific learning outcomes, often delivered through mobile or web-based platforms. The paper also presents a small hypothetical research design, specifically a survey of teacher education students regarding their experiences with microlearning modules. Expected outcomes based on prior literature include improved engagement, better retention, and greater learning flexibility, particularly for students managing multiple responsibilities. The article concludes that microlearning can support teacher training by providing timely practice, feedback, and accessible learning resources, while also requiring careful attention to instructional coherence and assessment. Future research should test effectiveness through empirical studies across different teacher education contexts
