Astronaut escape systems in winged spacecraft face significant challenges, especially when physical control by the crew is limited or unavailable. This paper presents a next-generation emergency escape capsule that combines a robust structural design, emergency propulsion, rapid separation mechanism, RCS-based attitude control, multi-stage parachute system, and cognitive brain-computer interface (BCI) capabilities. The BCI system, utilizing EEG sensors and machine-learning algorithms, allows the astronaut to directly command separation, stabilization, and parachute deployment without manual input, even under extreme conditions such as high-G loads, smoke, fire, or restricted movement. To accommodate this capsule, cockpit redesign and a separable canopy are incorporated to ensure safe ejection. Flight profile analysis, separation mechanics, and landing dynamics demonstrate that this capsule significantly enhances astronaut safety and addresses limitations of conventional escape systems.
