This research aims to study the effect of speed changes on the aerodynamic performance of a parallelogram elevator cabin using numerical simulation in ANSYS Fluent. The turbulent flow model (SST k-) was adopted to accurately predict flow separation. The results showed that aerodynamic forces (such as drag) are closely related to the velocity. This means that increasing velocity results in a significant increase in drag force, with the drag force increasing from so^,ra N at m/s to FAY * N at ۱ m/s. Additionally, pressure distribution, TKE, and streamline of velocity around the cabin were analyzed, as were flow separation zones resulting from the cabin shape. The simulation was conducted at different air inlet velocities (۹, A, ۱, and ۱ m/s), and the effect of cabin speed on flow and pressure characteristics was evaluated. These results lead to improved elevator design to reduce the drag effects caused by turbulent flow at high speeds, thus reducing the energy lost due to drag, which reduces energy consumption and improves passenger comfort.
