Preventive HSE Management in Hospitals: Innovations in Employee Safety and Quality of Care

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management in hospitals is a key component for ensuring both employee well-being and quality of care. A preventive approach to HSE management aims to identify and mitigate occupational and environmental risks, thereby preventing accidents, work-related injuries, and health issues among staff, while simultaneously enhancing patient care quality and satisfaction. This paper explores innovations and preventive strategies in HSE management within hospital settings and evaluates their role in improving staff safety, reducing medical errors, and increasing organizational efficiency. Findings indicate that implementing preventive HSE systems—including continuous training, regular risk assessments, and fostering a safety culture—can significantly reduce incidents and enhance the overall quality of clinical care.
