چکیده مقاله:

Background: Male infertility is a global concern, often linked to poor sperm quality and oxidative stress. Nutritional supplementation has been suggested as a potential supportive therapy. Objective: To evaluate the effects of multimodal supplementation on seminal parameters in infertile men. Methods: One hundred infertile men underwent semen analysis according to WHO guidelines (۶th edition) before and after supplementation. Parameters included semen volume, pH, sperm concentration, motility, morphology, and round cell count. Data are expressed as mean ± SE. Results: Supplementation significantly improved all measured parameters. Semen volume increased from ۲.۴۶ ± ۰.۱۲ to ۳.۲۰ ± ۰.۱۵ ml, pH from ۷.۲۰ ± ۰.۳۵ to ۷.۳۷ ± ۰.۳۶, and sperm concentration from ۱۳.۸۸ ± ۰.۸۹ to ۴۲.۸۶ ± ۱.۳۵ M/ml. Total motility rose from ۳۰.۶۴ ± ۱.۱۷% to ۶۲.۳۱ ± ۰.۶۹%, progressive motility from ۱۷.۷۳ ± ۰.۸۴% to ۴۲.۹۵ ± ۰.۶۸%, and normal morphology from ۲.۵۰ ± ۰.۱۲% to ۵.۳۳ ± ۰.۱۱%. Round cell counts decreased from ۱.۳۳ ± ۰.۰۷ to ۰.۴۹ ± ۰.۰۳ M/ml. Conclusion: Multimodal supplementation markedly improves semen quality, including volume, motility, morphology, and concentration, highlighting its potential as an adjunctive strategy for enhancing male reproductive health.
