Prevention and control of infections during natural childbirth

Given the high number of visitors to the maternity ward and the abundance of evidence indicating negligence in infection control, effective educational interventions aimed at improving labor performance to prevent infection transmission are essential. At the same time, various infections such as AIDS, hepatitis, and certain types of influenza require significant attention in a clean environment, away from the disease agent on one hand, and dealing with resistant microorganisms through disinfectants and effective sterilization in the maternity ward is of special importance. Maternal infection is a very dangerous condition during labor and can lead to serious consequences.
