چکیده مقاله:
In recent years, the global sports industry has experienced significant transformation due to changes in lifestyle patterns, technological advancements, and increasing public awareness of health and physical activity. These changes have contributed to the emergence and rapid growth of new forms of sport and fitness activities that differ from traditional sports structures. Emerging sports, particularly innovative fitness models such as fusion fitness, have gained considerable attention because of their potential to attract new participants, promote active lifestyles, and create economic opportunities within the sport industry. At the same time, the development and sustainability of these sports are strongly influenced by external factors such as private sector investment and government support policies. The purpose of this review study was to examine the role of private sector investment and supportive government policies in the development and economicization of emerging sports, with a particular emphasis on fusion fitness. Understanding how these factors interact can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms that support the growth of innovative sport activities and help policymakers and sport managers design effective development strategies. This study employed a qualitative review approach based on the analysis of existing literature related to emerging sports, sport development policies, private sector investment, sport entrepreneurship, and fitness innovation. Relevant academic sources, including both international and national studies, were examined in order to identify key themes and conceptual frameworks associated with the growth and commercialization of emerging sports. The reviewed literature provided a comprehensive perspective on the institutional, economic, and social dimensions of sport development. The findings of the study indicate that private sector investment plays a crucial role in promoting innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship within emerging sports. Private enterprises contribute to the development of new sport programs, training systems, and fitness services that respond to changing consumer preferences. In addition, supportive government policies and institutional frameworks are essential for providing infrastructure, regulatory standards, and inclusive participation opportunities that enable emerging sports to develop sustainably. The interaction between these two sectors creates a supportive ecosystem that encourages both economic growth and wider participation in physical activity.
