چکیده مقاله:
The present study aims to analyze the content of the Heavenly Gifts textbooks for the second cycle of primary education based on questions related to the components of monotheistic innate disposition. The study examines the extent to which these components appear in the text, images, and activities of the books including sections such as Tell Me, Discussion and Reflection, Creativity Station, Search and Find, Recitation, and Pray. The research was conducted using a deductive content analysis method. The statistical population includes the Heavenly Gifts textbooks for grades four, five, and six in the ۱۴۰۱–۱۴۰۲ academic year, selected through purposive sampling. First, the components of monotheistic innate disposition were identified using the article “Elements and Components of the Monotheistic Innate Disposition Curriculum in the Religious Education of Learners” by Tejari Moghaddam, Amin Khandaghi, and Ghandili (۱۳۹۹). The textbooks were then analyzed based on these components. Findings show that in the text sections, the greatest emphasis is placed on the component of goodness, moral virtue, love, and affection, while the least attention is given to creativity and innovation. In the activities section, reasoning, rationality, creativity, and innovation receive the most attention, whereas aesthetics and appreciation of beauty receive the least. In the images, the focus is mainly on aesthetics and rationality. In some indicators, such as truth-seeking, certain activities like the question “What does a seed need to grow?” in the fourth-grade textbook address surface-level understanding without encouraging deeper inquiry. Overall, the results indicate that the Heavenly Gifts textbooks for the second cycle of primary education do not sufficiently incorporate the components of monotheistic innate disposition. Strengthening these components can enhance students’ ethical development and understanding of their religious and social identity. Therefore, it is essential that educational texts more deliberately integrate these elements to support balanced growth aligned with Islamic and human values.
