BASIC DESIGN OF THE AXIAL TURBIN USING RESULTS OBTAINED FROM NUMERICAL SIMULATION FOR HIGHER TURBINE EFFICIENCY

چکیده :

The purpose of this paper is design of a single-stage axial turbine of a micro jet engine. In order to determine the radial distribution of the parameters, the assumption of constant nozzle angle has been used. After calculating the speed triangles and flow characteristics at the inlet and outlet of the blades, the flow pattern on each blade is obtained by developing a computer code- three experimental methods are used to predict the effect of different turbine wastes in calculations related to efficiency at the design point. Then, in order to complete and correct the design process, the blade modeling and 3D solution of the flow is done with a commercial software and the floor efficiency is calculated. While comparing the results of three-dimensional analysis with the results of the code, the performance curve of the turbine has been drawn and analyzed.
