چکیده مقاله:

Background: Robotic surgery, or robotic surgery, is a new era in medicine that allows for surgical procedures to be performed without the presence of doctors at the patient's side. This type of surgery uses advanced technologies such as surgical robots, telecommunications, and virtual reality to allow doctors to perform procedures from remote locations. Materials and Methods: This systematic review was conducted in accordance with PRIMSA guidelines using PubMed (MEDLINE), EMBASE, Scopus, Web of Science, from ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۴. The keywords artificial intelligence, tele surgery, and machine learning and their English equivalents were used. ۷۵ articles related to the searched keywords were collected. Inclusion criteria included the presence of at least two keywords in the title, the highest correspondence of the article with the research title, and the availability of the full text of the article. Finally, after evaluating the quality of the articles, ۷ articles were considered eligible and included in the study. Results: AI-powered telesurgery can overcome geographic constraints and provide specialized surgical care in remote and underserved areas. Future developments in this area include AI-powered telepresence platforms that, using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), can visualize ۳D anatomical models and perform precise surgeries. ۵G technology enables real-time communication between surgeons and robotic systems, reducing delays required to perform complex procedures. In addition, AI can automate operating room tasks such as monitoring vital signs, managing anesthesia, and tracking instruments. These technologies improve efficiency and telecare by reducing team workload and reducing human error. Conclusion: As a revolutionary innovation in healthcare, AI-based telesurgery increases the quality and access to surgical expertise in underserved areas. Despite ethical and safety challenges, this technology can help improve surgical outcomes and reduce costs, and revolutionize the health system.
