چکیده مقاله:
The present study (ETIS system) introduces an integrated and minimally invasive platform that enables advanced diagnosis, evaluation of the internal structure and targeted and safe treatment of hydatid cysts in a single procedure. The core of this system is a specialized smart multi-lumen catheter equipped with intravitreal ultrasound (IVUS) imaging sensors and a controlled microinjection system. This catheter is inserted into the cyst under real-time imaging guidance (ultrasound or fluoroscopy). This study specifically addresses more accurate diagnosis, evaluation of the internal structure and safer and more effective treatment of hydatid cysts in organs such as liver, lung and other tissues. Methods; Search in reputable scientific sites, Pop Med, Science Direct, SID and qualitative analysis of the articles searched. The advantages of this design include significantly reducing the drug dose, requiring a lower total volume of toxic drug, and focusing the drug dose directly on the living tissue of the parasite. Also, minimizing the risk of drug contact with healthy host tissues in the event of possible leakage or contact with the bile ducts allows the use of novel therapeutic agents (such as drug-carrying nanoparticles) with greater efficiency and less toxicity.
