چکیده مقاله:

Double helical gears are a type of gear mechanism characterized by two sets of teeth arranged in a helical pattern, which are angled in opposite directions. These gears offer several advantages over conventional straight or single helical gears, including smoother operation, reduced axial thrust, and higher load-carrying capacity. Due to their unique design, double helical gears are commonly used in high-power applications where durability and efficiency are crucial. Their ability to transfer power more efficiently and operate with minimal noise makes them ideal for various industrial and mechanical systems. This paper investigates and analyzes the impact of various design parameters on the efficiency of double helical gears. The study focuses on the influence of input power, rotational speed, helix angle, and transmitted torque on gear performance. Through a comprehensive examination, the effects of these parameters on the operational efficiency and mechanical behavior of double helical gears are explored. The findings aim to provide a better understanding of the relationships between these factors, offering valuable insights for the optimization of gear design in industrial applications. The results contribute to improving gear performance by identifying key parameters that influence overall efficiency.
