بررسی فواید و خطرات مواد غذایی تراریخته: مروری روایی

چکیده مقاله:

مقدمه: مواد غذایی اصلاح شده ژنتیکی (Genetically modified یا GM) که از طریق تکنیک های مهندسی ژنتیک به دست می آیند، برای بیان ویژگی های مطلوب طراحی شد ه اند و مزایای بالقوه ای مانند افزایش ارزش تغذیه ای، افزایش مقاومت در برابر آفات و کاهش اتکا به آفت کش های شیمیایی را ارایه می دهند. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، ارزیابی مزایا و خطرات مرتبط با غذاهای تراریخته و بررسی تاثیر آن ها بر سلامت و محیط زیست بود. روش ها: این مطالعه به روش مروری روایتی انجام شد. بدین ترتیب، مقالات منتشر شده در بازه زمانی سال های ۱۹۹۴ تا ۲۰۲۴ در پایگاه های اطلاعاتی Web of Science، PubMed و Google Scholar جستجو شد و مضامین و یافته های کلیدی برای ارایه یک دید کلی سازماندهی شده جمع آوری گردید. یافته ها: مواد غذایی تراریخته مزایای قابل توجهی مانند افزایش بازده تولیدات، کاهش استفاده از آفت کش ها و بهبود پروفایل های تغذیه ای دارند که نمونه آن محصولاتی مانند برنج طلایی است. با این حال، خطرات بالقوه شامل حساسیت زایی، مقاومت آنتی بیوتیکی و شارش ژن به علف های هرز می باشد. اثرات زیست محیطی مانند تاثیرات بر روی گونه های غیر هدف و از دست دادن تنوع زیستی نیز ذکر شده است. نتیجه گیری: شواهد موید این باور است که غذاهای تراریخته به امنیت غذایی پایدار کمک می کند. با این حال، ارزیابی های ایمنی کامل و مستمر برای کاهش خطرات سلامتی و زیست محیطی، بسیار مهم است. سیاست گذاری باید در راستای سنجش دقیق مزایا و خطرات این محصولات به منظور دستیابی به فواید آنها، همزمان با برطرف کردن نگرانی های عمومی و ملاحظات اخلاقی مربوطه باشد.
