Methods for Resolving International Banking and Financial Disputes

With the expansion of global economic relations, developing countries face challenges such as legal and financial disputes when participating effectively in international markets. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods have been proposed to address these disputes. These methods, instead of resorting to the courts, employ mediation, negotiation, and arbitration to achieve fairer agreements while reducing costs, time, and tension between parties. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of these methods in resolving banking and financial disputes and to identify their role in addressing economic challenges. The results indicate that ADR methods are considered the most effective and preferred approach for resolving financial and banking disputes.
