چکیده مقاله:

Background: Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) remains a leading cause of maternal mortality globally, especially in resource-limited settings. Integration of novel technologies and combined interventions, such as simulation-based training and standardized care bundles, offers promising opportunities to improve PPH prevention and management. This systematic review aims to assess the effectiveness of novel technologies and combined interventions in preventing and managing postpartum hemorrhage in resource-limited settings from ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۵. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library. After screening, ۳۸ relevant studies including randomized controlled trials, qualitative studies, and narrative reviews were included for qualitative synthesis. Results: Simulation-based training significantly enhanced the knowledge and clinical skills of midwifery teams in PPH management (Parameshwar et al., ۲۰۲۲; Almutaraiy et al., ۲۰۲۵). Virtual simulation showed higher satisfaction and effectiveness compared to traditional training methods (Voillequin et al., ۲۰۲۲). Implementation of standardized care bundles such as E-MOTIVE improved early detection and standardized management of PPH in several African countries (Forbes et al., ۲۰۲۳). Moreover, new pharmaceutical developments show promise for future therapeutic advances (McDougall et al., ۲۰۲۲). Conclusion: Novel technologies combined with structured interventions demonstrate significant effectiveness in preventing and managing postpartum hemorrhage in resource-limited settings. Wider adoption of these approaches could substantially reduce maternal morbidity and mortality.
