The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational practices, particularly in the field of language learning. In recent years, AI-powered technologies such as speech recognition systems, intelligent tutoring systems, and conversational chatbots have created new opportunities for improving English speaking skills among learners. Speaking proficiency, which includes both accuracy and fluency, is considered one of the most essential yet challenging skills for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. Many university students struggle to communicate effectively despite having adequate knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. Therefore, integrating AI-based tools into language learning environments may offer innovative solutions to enhance students’ speaking performance.
