چکیده مقاله:

Background: Bereavement is a universal human experience, yet the trajectory of adaptation varies significantly among individuals. While some develop prolonged grief disorder (PGD), others demonstrate remarkable resilience. This meta-analysis aims to identify and quantify the protective and predictive factors of resilience in bereavement, synthesizing data from global research published between ۲۰۲۰ and ۲۰۲۵, including significant contributions from Persian scholarship. Methods: A systematic search was conducted across Google Scholar, PubMed, and Persian databases (SID, Civilica). Studies reporting effect sizes (correlations, odds ratios) for factors associated with resilience or prolonged grief symptoms (PGS) were included. A random-effects model was used to aggregate effect sizes. Results: Analysis of ۱۲۰+ studies involving over ۶۰,۰۰۰ participants revealed that pre-loss grief symptoms (r = ۰.۳۹) and depression (r = ۰.۳۰) are the strongest predictors of poor adaptation. Conversely, trait resilience (r = ۰.۴۰) and social support (r = ۰.۳۵) emerged as the most potent protective factors. Persian studies highlighted the critical role of spiritual beliefs and social capital in the Iranian context.
