In the rapidly evolving paper and cardboard industry, effective training and risk management are crucial for cultivating future leaders. This study investigates the integration of training methodologies and risk management practices through a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews within Isfahan's major paper companies. Our findings reveal that while traditional training often emphasizes operational skills, there is a pressing need for curricula that combine technical proficiency with risk management and leadership training. Respondents highlighted barriers such as resource constraints and resistance to change, but affirmed the benefits of hybrid training models and active management involvement. By fostering a synergistic educational framework, organizations can enhance operational resilience and prepare leaders adept at navigating the complexities of sustainability challenges. These insights underscore the necessity for an adaptable, integrated training paradigm in the face of changing industry dynamics.
