Design and synthesis of new bimetallic complex catalyst stabilized on magnetic nanoparticles and its application in Sonogashira reactions

In this study, considering the significant importance of bimetallic nanoparticles in organic reactions, we synthesized a novel bimetallic catalyst consisting of copper and nickel metals on a magnetic iron nanoparticles support. This nanocatalyst was investigated and characterized by various analyses. The Fe۳O۴@SiO۲@۴-ABPT-Cu/Ni nanocatalyst showed good performance in the Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction.
