In this study, the estimation of key parameters of power transformer including equivalent impedance and total load losses has been done using fuzzy systems based on operational data of Kohrang Hydropower Plant. Kohrang Power Plant located in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, with a capacity of ۳۹ MW and an annual production of about ۱۲۸ million kWh, has three ۱۳ MW units and is considered one of the important power plants in providing energy to the region and transferring water to Zayandeh Rood. The inputs of the fuzzy model include input voltage, load current, winding temperature and frequency, each of which is defined in five fuzzy levels. In this model, Mamdani fuzzy inference method is used to estimate the outputs and the fuzzy rule base including ۶۲۵ rules has been developed manually and based on empirical knowledge. The results indicate the high accuracy of the fuzzy system in estimating the equivalent impedance and total load losses of the transformer under different operating conditions, and provide the possibility of optimizing the performance and preventive monitoring of the transformer.
