This research examines hybrid warfare threats in smart cities and designs resilient morphology to counter them. The primary objective is to propose the Resilient Morphology model, integrating indigenous desert architecture with cyber-physical defense technologies to ensure urban security through electromagnetic isolation and fracture geometry. The methodology employs a theoretical-synthetic framework based on analysis of ۳۴ scientific sources (۲۰۲۰–۲۰۲۵) in desert architecture, electromagnetic physics, and materials engineering. The research population comprises prior studies on cyber-physical threats and defensive architecture, collected via content analysis. Validation was achieved through comparison with case studies (e.g., Iranian salt domes and indigenous shielding systems). Data analysis utilized theoretical synthesis and comparative methods to evaluate the efficacy of indigenous materials (salt, soil, slag) in absorbing electromagnetic waves (EMP/HPM). Results demonstrate that indigenous materials, through multi-layer absorption and reflection mechanisms, achieve ۸۰ dB attenuation against hostile waves, replacing expensive metallic shields. Additionally, the labyrinthine geometry of desert alleys (e.g., qahr-o-ashthi alleys) disrupts hostile signals. The proposed model validates the core hypothesis that transitioning from defense to immunity is feasible through blending traditional architecture with modern technologies. Ethical challenges like the digital divide are managed via self-healing materials and invisible security design (e.g., double-skin facades containing brine). The conclusion affirms that resilient morphology forms the foundation for Iran’s ۲۰۵۰ digital-spiritual civilization, where security is ensured through the fusion of indigenous identity and cyber intelligence.
