چکیده مقاله:
This research investigates and evaluates creative vocabulary teaching methods for high school students. Given the fundamental importance of vocabulary in comprehension, effective expression, and academic success, finding innovative solutions to make the vocabulary learning process engaging and easier is essential. This study aims to identify and compare the effectiveness of novel vocabulary teaching methods, including the use of gamified techniques, educational technologies, text-based learning, and multi-sensory strategies. The statistical population includes students from the second cycle of high school in selected schools in Tehran city, with a sample of … individuals selected through … sampling method. Research data were collected through various tools such as pre-test and post-test vocabulary assessments, questionnaires measuring students’ attitudes towards teaching methods, and semi-structured interviews with teachers. The analysis of the results indicates the significant effectiveness of creative methods, especially a combination of gamification techniques and the use of multimedia content, in increasing students’ active and passive vocabulary size, as well as improving their motivation and attitude towards language learning. The findings of this research can serve as a basis for designing effective curriculum and training workshops in the field of vocabulary teaching for high school students.
