The Role of Post-Divorce Growth as a Mediator in the Association between Psychological Resilience of Divorced Women and Parental Stress

The interplay between psychological resilience, post-divorce recovery and parental stress in divorced women has received increasing scientific attention in recent decades. However, the global research landscape in this area remains fragmented, with no comprehensive mapping of its intellectual structure, thematic development or key contributors. This study bolometrically analyses the literature on parental stress, psychological resilience and post-divorce growth in divorced women to bridge this gap. A structured search query was used to search for ۸۷ peer-reviewed articles published in the ۲۰۰۰-۲۵ Scopus and Web of Science databases. The VOS (version ۱.۶) browser has been used for the analysis of bibliometric indicators such as publication trends, citation patterns, co-authorship networks, and keyword co-occurrence. Microsoft Excel ver ۲۰, the most productive countries according to the results are the US, Canada, the UK and Iran, which have seen a steady increase in research output since ۲۰۱۵. Thematic mapping revealed three dominant clusters: (۱) resilience and coping mechanisms; (۲) growth after trauma and divorce; and (۳) parental stress in single-parent households. The core work of Tedeschi, Calhoun, Masten and Bonanno continues to shape the field, and the term mediating role has become more popular after ۲۰۲۰, reflecting the theoretical shift towards explanatory and process-based models. Descriptive and cross-sectional studies are giving way to more complex and longitudinal models in this area. However, non-English literature is largely neglected, and research is still under-represented in low- and middle-income areas.
