چکیده مقاله:

Women’s entrepreneurial attitudes are shaped through complex psychological and social processes that extend beyond individual predispositions. This narrative review synthesizes evidence from ۳۰ empirical studies to examine how personality traits and family support jointly contribute to the formation of women’s entrepreneurial attitudes. The analysis of the reviewed studies indicates that entrepreneurial orientations among women do not emerge solely from individual traits but develop through mediated and context-dependent pathways. Personality traits such as risk tolerance, innovativeness, openness to experience, need for achievement, and emotional stability are associated with positive entrepreneurial attitudes; however, their influence typically operates through psychological mechanisms including entrepreneurial self-efficacy, motivation, creativity, and psychological capital.Parallel to these dispositional influences, family environments play a formative and conditioning role. Supportive family contexts, authoritative parenting styles, and positive parental role modeling strengthen women’s confidence, autonomy, and entrepreneurial preparedness. At the same time, excessive parental control or resource overprovision may constrain entrepreneurial independence, highlighting the dynamic and relational nature of family influence. The synthesis of the reviewed studies suggests a developmental pathway in which personality traits provide foundational tendencies, while family environments condition how these tendencies are activated and reinforced over time. Despite growing empirical attention, the literature remains fragmented, with limited research explicitly examining the interaction between personality traits and family-related influences. This review highlights the need for more integrative and context-sensitive research to better understand the processes shaping women’s entrepreneurial attitudes.
