Iranian Journal of Materials Forming, Issue ۲, April ۲۰۲۶

The “Iranian Journal of Materials Forming (IJMF)” is an international, open-access journal dedicated to the study of material deformation and forming processes. Established in ۲۰۱۴ at Shiraz University, IJMF welcomes submissions from scientists and engineers in both academic and industrial sectors, covering all aspects of manufacturing processes. The journal addresses a broad spectrum of topics related to material deformation, including elastic and plastic behavior, as well as deformation associated with material failure. Its quality and scientific credibility are ensured by a distinguished editorial board comprising leading experts in the field. Furthermore, IJMF maintains a rigorous peer-review process supported by a diverse group of highly qualified referees. We are pleased to announce that IJMF has now completed its sixth consecutive year of successful quarterly publication, with the second issue of ۲۰۲۶ already published.
