چکیده مقاله:

In this paper it is attempted to compare the measured wave parameters with the related measured wind data in the Persian Gulf in the south Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces. Such analysis willbe done for wave stations in deep water corresponding to the nearest related meteorology station.Wind and wave roses show the magnitude and directional distribution of wind and wave This The research was done based on marine and meteorology data extracted from the Monitoring andModeling Study of Coastal Zone of HORMOZGAN Province and also the Monitoring and Modeling Study on Some Coastal Parts of SISTAN & BALUCHESTAN and BUSHEHR Provinces projects accomplished by the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization. And alsosynoptic data gathered by Iran Meteorological Organization is used. Sea state is generally defined by using some parameters derived from directional wave spectrum.Significant wave height, peak wave period and wave direction are the most common used parameters. The available wave data for this research is obtained by ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) wave and current measurement instruments, by a mechanism of sending and receivingunder water transmission acoustic signals. Meteorology stations are Skye models and the level ofthe wind station sensor is 10 meters above the ground which collects the hourly wind speed and direction data. The data set used in this study comprises of wave data parameters gathered in Kangan port,Naiband Gulf, Taheri port, Lavan and Furor Islands, Shahid Rajayee Port and Larak; and thelocations of field meteorology measurements from the east to west are in Naiband Gulf, near the Hengam and Furor Islands and in Sirik Port. The Plan view of the measurement station locationsis plotted in figure 1. After considering the study areas of all of the stations locations, analyzing the their geometry coast and processing the data collected, 16 sector Wave and wind roses of each station have been prepared in order to compare with each other. Then each wave characteristics of each station will be analyzed along the nearest weather station is located.
