چکیده مقاله:
Emotional intelligence (EI) has been widely researched in different fields of knowledge. Emotional intelligence attempts to interpret and explain the place of emotions and feelings in human capabilities. Managers with emotional intelligence are successful managers who achieve goals with maximum productivity and employee satisfaction and commitment. The objective of current study was to extend the state-of-the-art research work in the field of EI, based on bibliometric research studies published during ۲۰۰۰-۲۰۲۴. The result of the study depicted under subsequent perspectives: top productive authors, top influential journals, countries' collaboration network, publication growth trends, and citation patterns. A publication growth in EI research was found to gradually increase, with a rapid increase in publication from ۲۰۱۵-۲۰۲۰. As a total, ۱,۳۴۲ research publications were produced in ۹۴ journals by ۲,۴۵۶ authors, which were affiliated with ۴۱۵ institutions listed in Web of Science (WOS). The top research productive countries were the United States, China, United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada, with a great number of highly cited articles from developed countries. Based on co-authorship analysis, it was concluded that the United States has attracted the most extensive research community during the last decade, leading the publications collaboration in the field of EI. China emerged as the top collaborator with the US, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany, and other major players. The development of a robust global collaboration network can further enhance EI research publication and impact. The implications of this study include providing EI training to managers and practitioners, as well as encouraging publishers to offer Web of Science (WOS) indexed journals that deal solely with the core idea of emotional intelligence to facilitate future studies in this rapidly evolving field
