Digital Technology and Supply Chain Transformation: A Qualitative and Analytical Approach

In recent years, digital technologies have dramatically changed the way all fields operate, including medicine, industry, media, education, research, etc. In today's world, where the supply chain, as one of the key components of the success of organizations, has become complex and dynamic, digital transformation in this area can not only help improve procurement processes and inter-organizational collaboration, but also increase security, transparency, and speed of operations. This paper takes a qualitative approach to examining key digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics in supply chains. It also examines the impact of these technologies on improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in supply chains, and analyzes the challenges of their implementation. Based on up-to-date data from McKinsey and other reputable sources, this study demonstrates the role of digital technology in facilitating supply chain transformations and offers suggestions for its optimal application.
