Mohammad Mahdi Sepehrian email: mehdi.sepehrian۶۸@gmail.com Title: Evaluation of applying artificial intelligence in organizations and its society with a knowledge management approach Introduction: In the contemporary corporate landscape, a critical question confronting organizational leaders is the rationale for adopting artificial intelligence. What are the opportunities and challenges presented by Al, and how can it be optimally integrated into organizational processes? In industrial organizations, to better achieve the Fourth Industrial Revolution, combining artificial intelligence with knowledge management is essential. This ensures that information and knowledge obtained in industrial settings can be more effectively utilized by others, aiding managers in making improved decisions and formulating new policies. Extensive research has been conducted to explore various aspects of this issue, including the economic rights and accountability it entails. Factors external to the organization, such as access to information and the existing digital divide among users, significantly influence the adoption of Al. Organizations can choose from a variety of solutions based on their nature and goals. Bridging the digital divide and facilitating free access to information can create a win-win scenario for both the organization and the community, allowing enhanced services to a broader user base. This study distinguishes itself by focusing on the practical application of Al in organizations from knowledge management perspectives and seeking strategies to enhance productivity through increased digital literacy of users and their information-seeking behaviors in the age of Al. Research Questions: Q۱: What challenges do organizations face in the implementation of knowledge-driven Al? Q۲: What challenges do organizations face in implementing knowledge-driven Al in society? Q۳: How can organizations engage users who are marginalized due to the digital divide and lack access to organizational services and other societal opportunities? Methodology: The study's methodology is multi-staged, requiring quantitative and qualitative reviews due to its multifaceted nature. The first phase involves a systematic literature review on technology use in organizational settings, including Al. This process follows an established protocol for a rigorous search, selection, and evaluation of relevant studies. The research includes a thorough review of existing studies on technology application in organizations, including Al implementation, and various diffusion models indeed, we extract criteria a critical factor about Applying Al Frome previous studies. Opportunities, challenges, weaknesses, and threats are identified using the SWOT model, categorized based on each organization's nature and goals through expert and manager interviews. Knowledge management models appropriate for the organization will be reviewed for Al implementation. External organizational and societal factors like the digital divide and information access are considered, combining these elements in a comprehensive study exploring implementable solutions and user-organization relationships tailored to each organization's specific nature. Expected Outcomes: The outcome of this study has the potential to significantly improve our understanding of how Al impacts organizations and society, also providing valuable insights for organizations striving to thrive in an Al-enhanced world.
