چکیده مقاله:

Genetic algorithms, especially in the cytochrome p۴۵۰ genes (CYP۴۵۰), play an important role in metabolism and response to common drugs in the society. Identification of these genetic variants in local communities can help personalized medicine and improve the effectiveness of drugs. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between genetic algorithms and its response to common drugs in local population. In this study, saliva samples were collected from volunteers. After DNA extraction, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was carried out to identify specific markers in key CYP۴۵۰ genes (e.g. CYP۱A۱ and CYP۲D۶). Then, the response status of these individuals to common drugs was evaluated and the possible association between genetic profile and drug response pattern of each individual was investigated. The results of this study showed that the pattern of genetic diversity studied in the local community was accompanied with differences in response to common drugs. Some of the genetic algorithms were associated with an increase or decrease in the effectiveness or incidence of specific side effects in the drug users. The results of this study emphasize on the importance of considering the genetic diversity of individuals in determining the regimes in the local community. Genetic algorithms personalization of the genetic basis of individuals can be an effective step in improving the health of the society and reducing the failures of treatment and consequently an effective step for the progress of the personalization.
