چکیده مقاله:

Nanotechnology has emerged as a transformative force in orthopedic and biomedical implantology. Traditional implants often face issues such as poor osseointegration, bacterial infections, mechanical degradation, and the need for revision surgeries. Integrating nanotechnology addresses these challenges by enabling advanced surface modifications, drug delivery systems, and smart material functions. This review comprehensively explores the latest advancements in nanotechnology applications across seven key areas: orthopedic nanocomposites, hydroxyapatite (HA) nanostructures, nanomedicine in osteoarticular tuberculosis, biodegradable conductive polymers for tissue engineering, self-healing soft materials for implant longevity, magnesium-based nanocomposites, and synthetic biomaterials enabled by additive manufacturing. The review highlights major research breakthroughs, identifies prevailing challenges, and proposes future research trajectories essential for clinical translation and personalized patient care.
