Evaluation of project knowledge management risks using DEMATEL-ISM integrated technique (Case study: Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company)

In today's project environments, various risks can directly or indirectly impact project success. Therefore, identifying and understanding the relationships between these risks helps managers adopt a more comprehensive perspective and make better decisions to mitigate potential negative effects. The DEMATEL-ISM method, as an effective tool, enables in-depth and structured analysis of the relationships between risks. In this study, influential and influenced risks are identified and prioritized based on expert opinions. This analysis can help project managers focus their resources and efforts more effectively on controlling key risks. Additionally, this approach allows project owners to take timely actions by better understanding the chains of influence, thereby preventing cost increases and the loss of knowledge. Thus, risk management plays a crucial role in the success of projects, and the proposed approach in this study can lead to better decision-making in this regard.
