emerging risks in the insurance industry; Opportunities and challenges (with the approach of cyber risks)

In this article, the emerging risks in the insurance industry have been examined with a focus on cyber risks. Although economic downturns and regulatory changes are still at the top of insurance risk lists, the focus has shifted to new entrepreneurial risks such as competition, credit and reputation, business interruption and cyber risks. Cyber risks are events that can cause disruption or damage to e-business, reputation and brand credibility. Among these risks, we can mention the risks of network security, virus, internet hacking, internet network failure, identity theft, etc. Cyber insurance provides coverage for damages and mishaps caused by electronic risks.
