A novel polymer-supported nanocatalyst was synthesized and applied for the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue (MB) dye in aqueous solution. The catalyst, composed of TiO۲ nanoparticles embedded in a biodegradable polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) matrix, demonstrated high efficiency under simulated solar irradiation. The synergistic effect of the polymer support and nanoscale dispersion of TiO۲ enhanced the surface area, light absorption, and pollutant interaction. This study highlights the potential of hybrid nanopolymeric systems in environmental remediation, offering a sustainable and scalable approach for water purification. The degradation kinetics, reusability, and structural stability of the catalyst were investigated, providing insights into its practical application.
