چکیده مقاله:

In optimizing the T-۳۰۱۱ stripping tower, a new feed configuration utilizing the feed-splitting technique was introduced, focusing on improving energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Two key configurations for optimization were examined based on essential parameters of stripping column design. The first approach analyzed the system with a fixed propane purity level in the bottom product (۹۹% mass), identifying optimal conditions under this specification. The second approach maintained a fixed propane recovery rate (۶۶% mass) as per the current design, and the optimized parameters for this configuration were also determined. The results indicate that maintaining a constant propane recovery rate in the bottom product stream provides a more economically viable solution. This design configuration achieves a significant reduction-approximately ۳۶%―in the low-pressure steam consumption in the reboiler, translating into substantial annual cost savings. Additionally, the optimal feed split ratio, identified at ۰.۷۹ for the cold portion and ۰.۲۱ for the preheated portion, minimizes reboiler energy demand while only slightly reducing propane purity in the bottom product from ۹۹% to ۹۸.۲۴%. Further refinements show that adjusting the entry tray for the preheated feed stream improves propane purity to ۹۸.۳۱%, achieving efficient energy utilization and optimizing propane recovery in the bottom product.
