چکیده مقاله:

Frequent power outages have become a defining challenge for Iran’s economy, affecting productivity, household welfare, and national competitiveness. This extended version examines the technical reliability indices, the economic and sectoral consequences of outages, and cross-national comparisons. Using official data from the Ministry of Energy (TAVANIR), the World Bank (۲۰۲۳), and the International Energy Agency (IEA), the analysis quantifies Iran’s electricity reliability gap and its estimated GDP loss, situating Iran within the broader group of developing economies. The analysis meticulously details the historical trends, breaks down the economic burden across key sectors, and presents statistical models correlating unreliability with macroeconomic performance, culminating in targeted policy recommendations for grid stabilization and modernization.
