Uncertainty of wind can contribute to uncertainty in generating of electrical power. The electricity market price, on the other hand is a completely determined parameter which mainly depends on the consumer demand. Therefore, for a wind farm, generation may occur at a time other than the time of peak price which can reduce the overall profit of wind farm. Hence, in this paper, the focus is on sizing of energy storage device which is employed to store energy when the price is relatively low and deliver this energy when the price is high and increase the overall benefit of wind farm. As a case study, wind speed data of Shiraz wind site and Iran electricity market price has been considered. The main goal of this paper is to determine the optimal size of energy storage system that results in the highest benefit for the wind farm
