چکیده مقاله:
Educational activities play a critical role in fostering social skills among students, which are essential for their personal, academic, and future professional success. Social skills encompass a range of competencies, including communication, cooperation, empathy, conflict resolution, and self-regulation, all of which enable students to interact effectively with peers and adults. Recent studies highlight that participation in structured educational activities not only enhances academic learning but also promotes social development by providing students with opportunities to practice interpersonal interactions in diverse contexts. These activities, which may include group projects, collaborative learning tasks, role-playing exercises, and extracurricular programs, help students build confidence, develop emotional intelligence, and strengthen problem-solving abilities. Moreover, engagement in these activities encourages the cultivation of leadership skills, fosters teamwork, and supports the development of prosocial behaviors. By integrating educational activities into the broader curriculum, educators can create a holistic learning environment that addresses both cognitive and social-emotional development. This study aims to examine the extent to which educational activities influence students’ social skills development, identify the types of activities most effective in promoting these competencies, and explore the mechanisms through which participation contributes to social growth. The findings are expected to provide actionable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to enhance the social and emotional dimensions of learning, thereby preparing students for the demands of a complex and collaborative society. In conclusion, fostering social skills through educational activities is not merely a complementary aspect of learning but a fundamental component of holistic education that supports lifelong success and well-being.
