Analyzing the learning and memory of elementary school students based on the impact of positive thinking skills

The current research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of teaching positive thinking skills on the memory and learning of primary school students, was conducted in a semi-experimental method with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the current study was made up of all elementary school students in Ardal city in ۲۰۲۳-۲۰۲۴, of which ۳۰ people were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups by purposeful sampling. The research tools included a questionnaire to assess the quality of students' learning (Rahmani, ۲۰۰۹) with ۲۵ items, Wechsler's memory scale (۱۹۹۷), and an intervention program for teaching positivity skills with ۸ sessions, the experimental group received this training, while the control group It did not receive such an intervention. In order to analyze the data, the software package of social sciences was used in two sections of descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics. The results of the research analysis showed that the teaching of positivity skills is effective on the memory of primary school students in Ardal city (effect size = ۰.۸۸۳, p < ۰.۰۵). Also, the teaching of positive attitude skills was effective on the learning of elementary school students in Ardal city (effect size = ۰.۳۱۱, p < ۰.۰۵). Therefore, based on the results of this research, it is possible to improve the memory and learning performance of elementary school students by using positivity skills training
