The world is constantly undergoing transformation, and the pace of change in our era surpasses that of any previous period in human history. Factors such as population growth, technological inventions and discoveries, advances in communication systems, and the increasing number of educated individuals with greater dynamism and adaptability toward their goals have collectively reshaped the environment. Consequently, transformation and change have become the most significant challenges faced by contemporary organizations. As the well-known saying goes, “nothing is constant except change.” Change within organizations is inevitable, and leaders who can anticipate and swiftly respond to these changes are more likely to succeed. Accordingly, the present study aimed to examine political intelligence and change management capability: a case study in women's sports. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive–survey in nature, employing a correlational analysis approach. The statistical population consisted of managers responsible for women’s sports in the Ministry of Sports and various sports federations. Data analysis was performed on ۱۱۶ valid questionnaires. The research instrument was a questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. Data were analyzed at both descriptive and inferential levels. The findings indicated that political intelligence has a significant effect on the change management capability of female sports managers.
