چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, a fully developed steady flow of a fourth grade non-Newtonian fluid between two stationary parallel plates has been taken into consideration utilizing two new methods, that is, Variational Iteration Method (VIM) and Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM). The results generated from HAM and VIM are compared employing Adomian’s Decomposition Method (ADM) and a numerical method for Boundary Value Problems (BVP) for validation. The analytical results were found to be in acceptable agreement with numerical solutions. It was observed that HAM can be much easier, more efficient and reliable to approach such problems in comparison to VIM and other traditional methods
