چکیده مقاله:

Reliability is one of the significant factors for safety insurance, effectivity and acceleration in development process of the aviation systems in different fields. In another hand, blades which are used as the principal propeller of helicopters are high sensitive dynamic Items. So, in this paper, main rotor blades in 205 helicopters (including: Bell 205 & AgustaBell 205) are studied from reliability and its necessity, maintenance viewpoint. Statistical analyses have been done based on real data, which are obtained from circumstances of main rotor blades in mentioned helicopters in hot-dry weather conditions (semi-dessert area) and two different geographic regions in the country of Iran. As a result, common and shared failures and mean time between failures are calculated and other trustworthiness parameters of the blades in aforementioned helicopters are analysed and compared. Statistical activities and maintenance issue directly have relation with reliability. Based on this, above matters confirm the applicability of this research. It is considerable that our used statistical population is taken Iran's 205 helicopters fleet used in civil segment, and the time limit is assumed last 25 years. Sampling has been random and accomplished by means of Morgan's table
