چکیده مقاله:

An isogeometric finite element method based on non-uniform rational B-splines basis functions is developed for buckling analysis of shear-deformable plates using the first-order shear deformation theory. The approximation of the solution space for the displacement field of the plate and the parameterization of the geometry are performed using NURBS-based approach. Numerical examples, considering various aspect ratios, thickness, shapes, and boundary conditions, are presented in order to show the validity of the proposed method. The results are completely satisfactory in comparison with the exact and other available numerical methods, existing in the literature
