چکیده مقاله:
It is essential to examine the components of the climate resilient city theory due to the increasing challenges posed by climate change and its consequences on the lives of urban dwellers. Climate change has led to more severe natural disasters, rising temperatures, reduced water resources, and changing rainfall patterns, all of which have a direct impact on the functioning of cities and the daily lives of residents. Therefore, examining the elements that can strengthen cities in the face of these developments is of particular importance as a comprehensive strategy for managing and reducing risks. These components include spatial planning, resource management, sustainable transportation, and community participation, each of which plays a key role in increasing the resilience of cities. As the economic and social heartbeat of societies, cities are exposed to multiple threats posed by climate change. These threats can manifest directly, such as floods and droughts, or indirectly, such as the economic and social impacts of climate crises. Examining the components of urban resilience theory helps us identify solutions to reduce vulnerability and increase the capacity of cities to respond to these threats. For example, developing green infrastructure, using new technologies in energy management, and improving early warning systems are among the measures that can strengthen the resilience of cities. In addition, examining the components of urban resilience theory helps to better understand the role of community participation and government accountability. Resilient cities are not built by investing in infrastructure and technology alone, but require the active participation of citizens, local organizations, and the private sector. This participation can help build strong social networks, raise public awareness, and encourage sustainable behaviors. Governments should also develop policies that both help mitigate the effects of climate change and strengthen the ability of cities to cope with these changes. Ultimately, examining these components will help us move towards cities that are not only resilient to climate change, but also create opportunities for improved quality of life and sustainability. Resilient cities can serve as models for sustainable development in which people, the environment, and the economy operate in harmony and balance. This approach not only helps reduce short-term risks, but also leads to the creation of a sustainable and resilient future for future generations. Therefore, examining and implementing the components of urban resilience theory is an inevitable necessity for all urban communities in the ۲۱st century.
