چکیده مقاله:
Snowfall and its resultant changes affect surface and groundwater fluctuations in various regions each year. In this regard, an evaluation of the trend of snow changes in Markazi Province was conducted. This study utilized data from synoptic stations located in the region. The Mann-Kendall trend test was employed to examine snow changes across the province. The results indicated that the lowest amount of snowfall in Markazi Province occurred in November, followed by March, while the highest amounts were observed in January and February. The results from the variability investigation of snowfall in the province showed that, except for the Arak and Khomein stations, other stations experienced high annual fluctuations. The results from examining the standard deviation of snowfall indicated that the highest value of this statistic initially appeared in January, followed by December, and subsequently in February. The outputs from the Mann-Kendall test indicated that no significant trend in snowfall was observed in November. Conversely, in December, a significant trend was noted in the central province's stations. The Arak station showed a decreasing trend, while the Shazand station exhibited a positive trend. In January, there was a significant reduction in snowfall amounts at the Arak, Saveh, and Khomein stations, while snowfall amounts at the Shazand station increased.
