چکیده مقاله:
In this article, two types of behavioral models, unified and multilaminate, have been used for the modeling of soils. The unified behavioral model used the non-associated flow rule and the critical state concept. In addition, the concept of the sub-loading surface has been used to predict the smooth elastic-plastic transition. The implicit Euler method has been used for the implementation of the model. A multilaminate model uses a ۱۳-plane model, each of which has elastic-plastic behavior. The overall behavior of the soil is integrated from the separate elastoplastic calculation of the multiple individual planes in different directions of a material point. A set of unconventional constitutive equations were used in each plane separately. By using a non-classical plasticity model, this model is able to predict the soil softening behavior more realistically. In fact, the effect of the induced anisotropy is modeled as well. Subsequently, soil samples under monotonic loading in drained and undrained conditions were modeled with both behavioral models and compared with laboratory data. It was shown that the multilaminate model can be used more favorably to model the behavior of soils.
