چکیده مقاله:

The study “An Analysis of Book Layout Educational Content in Kardanesh and Technical Vocational Schools” aims to address the need for accurate and effective educational content in the field of book layout. This necessity arises from the inadequacies of the existing textbook, “Basics and Principles of Book Layout,” which fails to serve as a comprehensive reference for teaching and learning in the domain. Consequently, students in technical and vocational schools are unable to utilize this book as a proper teaching model for training future learners, creating a significant gap in the quality of education provided in this area. The research adopts a descriptive, analytical, comparative, and applied methodology. Data collection was carried out using a combination of field and library research methods. The field research involved the use of questionnaires and interviews to gather qualitative and quantitative data, while the library research relied on primary, authoritative sources and supplementary credible internet resources. The findings of the study reveal a significant lack of technical and specialized materials published on book layout as an educational topic, indicating that there is an insufficient amount of study resources for this field in the current curriculum. The concept of book layout, as it is taught in vocational school textbooks, is constrained to the teaching of basic and rudimentary techniques. The methodology employed limits the scope of teaching to just three parameters, which are not sufficient for providing students with a thorough and practical understanding of the subject. Additionally, the teaching process primarily involves pasting texts and images from newspapers onto opposing pages without adherence to the fundamental principles of book design. As a result, the students create pages that lack scientific, technical, and practical foundations, rendering the process ineffective as a pedagogical tool. The study further emphasizes how the absence of structured and scientifically-grounded educational resources undermines the development of creativity and technical expertise among students. Filling this gap requires addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of book layout, ensuring that students are properly equipped to meet industry standards. Moreover, incorporating diverse and multidisciplinary approaches into the curriculum would encourage innovation and better prepare students for real-world challenges in the field of layout and design. The research calls for collaboration among educators, industry experts, and curriculum developers to revise and enhance the quality of educational content.
